“Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”
— John 4:13-14 NKJV

Our Beliefs

God

God is the Creator of the universe and the author of life; the beginning and the end of all things.

God eternally exists as three distinct persons—Father, Son, and Spirit—who are each fully and equally God in eternal relation with each other. Everything exists because of Him and is subject to His sovereign plan. (Gen. 1:1; Jn. 1:1; Eph4:6; Col. 1:15-23; Rev. 19:6)

Bible

Godʼs Word

The Bible is God's word to us and that it has everything we need to know God, His love, and what He wants.

The Bible is wholly authentic, fully trustworthy, and complete without error. It is the final authority on all things and is useful for teaching, encouraging, and correcting. (Ps. 19:7-14; 2 Tim. 3:16-17)

Man

Godʼs Broken Image

Man was perfectly created by God to glorify Him and bear His image. Man sinned and distorted this image.

Since then we are all born into sin and our only hope of restoration is found in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. (Gen 1:27; Ps. 8:3-6; Ps. 51:5; Rom. 3:23; Rom. 5:12; Eph. 2:3)

Jesus

Godʼs Perfect Image

The image that sin distorted was restored by Christ, the perfect image of God, in His finished work on the cross.

He is the Son of God who came to earth by birth of a virgin. Being fully human and fully God, He died for the sins of his people, rose from a grave and ascended to the Father. He conquered death and is the way, the truth, and the life. (Is. 9:6; Jn. 1:1-18; Matt. 27:54; Jn. 14:6-7; Col. 1:15-23; 1 Tim. 1:15)

Salvation

Godʼs Plan

Godʼs plan was to restore His perfect image in us by the free gift of grace received through faith.

By His Spirit, God counts the perfect life that Jesus lived, the death that Jesus, and His resurrection as ours by believing in it. God counts are faith alone as if we never did it. (Jn. 1:12; Jn. 14:16; Acts 4:12; Eph 2:8-9)

Gospel

Godʼs Message

The gospel is the good news that God, the Father, sent His Son, Jesus, to live, die and be raised in our place for the punishment of our sins and that by grace through faith alone we are saved.

In Jesus, God reconciles us all to God in order that the Spirit might enable us to live become kingdom citizens in relationship with and in representation of Him. (Lk 2:10-11; Lk. 4:14-21; Jn. 3:16-17; Rom. 1:1:16-17)

Church

Godʼs People

The Church is made up of every person who places trust in the finished work of Jesus and is Godʼs chosen instrument to bring the gospel to the world.

The Church is a community of disciples; believers who personally live under Jesus Christ and are on mission to make more disciples.

Restoration

Godʼs Reign

Through the Church, God is making all things new on the earth when Christ will return again some day to reign.
